The End of Year Scramble

This is always the time of year I look back and wonder what I did with all my time. This year everyone in the family began a new job but me - - I spent the year . . . packing, moving, unpacking! First our household and my art business, then just a month later my parents. I still miss my NC friends a lot, but am slowly making new friends and art connections in Arkansas. We also adopted a puppy from the Humane Society - Sasha, pictured here. Just like having a child again!!

Now comes the annual organizational scramble I always go through - get ready for taxes, organize studio, office, garage - -thankfully, we don't have a basement anymore!! That also means there's nowhere to hide clutter. I love our new house with it's wide open spaces, large windows to catch the sunrise and sunset, watch the birds and the ever-changing weather. But, alas, I must get to work.
